Celebration

Sat Mar 8, 2008, 4:53 AM
A lot of things have happened on March 8.
In 1681 Johannes Kepler discovered the third law of planetary motion, in 1844 King Oscar I ascended the throne of Sweeden-Norway, and in 1775 Thomas Paine published an article called "African Slavery in america" which called for the emancipation of all slaves and the abolition of slavery. 8 March is also the international women's day, and also the day Ronald Regan called the Soviet Union an evil empire.
And recently, i got my hands on a Canon EOS 30D. And luckily a EF-S 18-55mm lens were donated by Klaus Mathisen. So now i'm ready to take some descent shots of my own.

I say this calls for a celebration ;-)
